Video: Deontae Cooper on the comeback trail again

Three season-ending knee injuries can’t erase the smile from Deontae Cooper’s face. He’s the poster child for bad luck and perseverance.

The Washington junior running back was downright giddy after Monday’s training camp opener. “It’s just a blessing to be out here,” he said.

Cooper is returning from a right knee injury suffered last year in training camp. He missed the 2011 and ’10 seasons after tearing his left ACL.

Here’s video (above) of Cooper talking about his third comeback.
