Washington junior tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins had surgery Thursday on his fractured right pinkie, UW coach Steve Sarkisian said.

Sarkisian said immediately after Thursday’s practice that he was uncertain about a timeline for ASJ’s return.

“I’ll know more hopefully when I walk up the tunnel and then we’ll find out,” Sarkisian said.

ASJ injured his pinkie in Monday’s practice. The preseason All-American suited up for Tuesday and Wednesday’s workouts, but did not participate in team drills.
