Boise State ranked No. 19 in preseason AP Top 25

At No. 19 in The Associated Press poll released today, Boise State is the only team from a BCS non-automatic qualifying conference to make the preseason rankings.

The Broncos are also ranked No. 19 in the coaches’ poll released earlier this month.

Kickoff between Boise State and Washington at new Husky Stadium is two weeks from today. Anyone excited?

The Idaho Statesman takes a look at Boise State’s depth at running back, with sophomore Jay Ajayi “primed” for a breakout season. Behind him, though, questions abound.

Chris Dufresne of the L.A. Times has the Broncos No. 12 in his preseason countdown.

Five Pac-12 teams are ranked in the AP preseason poll, including Oregon State at No. 25. Bud Withers’ column on the Beavers ran in today’s paper as part of The Times’ annual previews of the conference. And, if you missed it, here’s his column on the Ducks from Friday.
