UW jumps to No. 17 in AP Top 25

The Huskies (2-0) jumped two spots to No. 17 in The Associated Press Top 25 poll released this morning.

Washington seeks its first 3-0 start since 2001 when it hosts FCS Idaho State (2-0) at Husky Stadium for a noon kickoff Saturday. The game will be televised on the Pac-12 Networks.

Five Pac-12 teams are ranked, with Oregon remaining at No. 2, Stanford 5, UCLA 13 and Arizona State moving in at 23 after its controversial victory over Wisconsin.

UW is included on every voter’s ballot this week, ranging from No. 12 to No. 24.

— I speak into the camera here.

— From The News Tribune: The Huskies didn’t panic late.
