You might think life would change just a bit for sophomore wideout Jaydon Mickens after Saturday’s breakout performance against California when he finished with a career-best 180 receiving yards and two touchdown catches.
But Mickens swears he’s the same guy today as he was last week.
“My life hasn’t changed at all,” he said. “I’m still trying to get it. One game is not going to make me a different person. I haven’t done (anything) for this program yet and I’m trying to be the best player that I can be. I still have a lot to work on. I still have a lot to improve on.”
Mickens leads Washington with 45 receptions and 542 receiving yards. He’s tied for the team lead with four touchdown catches.
