Been working to confirm a CBSports.com report that Chris Petersen and UW agreed to a five-year, $18 million deal.
The $3.6 annual salary would appear to make Petersen the top-paid coach at any of Pac-12’s 10 public schools.
USC, which hired former UW coach Steve Sarkisian on Monday, was reportedly willing to pay upwards of $6 million annually for its new coach.
