As they continue preparations for the Fight Hunger Bowl, the Huskies will resume practicing on Friday morning at the Dempsey Indoor facility, under the direction of interim coach Marques Tuiasosopo.
UW will practice again on Saturday, take Sunday off, and then practice Monday through Thursday. All practices will remain closed to the public and the media (except for the first 20 minutes of warmups and the stretching period).
The Huskies will depart for San Francisco on Dec. 22 and then have four practices at the City College of San Francisco before playing BYU at AT&T Park on Dec. 27.
Including two practices from this past weekend, that’s 12 bowl practices scheduled, of the 15 allowable.
New coach Chris Petersen said he will have a hands-off role during these December practices.
