This explains things better: Marques Tuiasosopo was formally introduced as part of the USC coaching staff on Monday evening, and sources said he was given a raise and the title “Associate Head Coach Offense” in addition to tight ends coach.

Tuiasosopo reunites with Steve Sarkisian on the USC staff, as does former UW defensive coordinator Justin Wilcox.

Exact figures of Tuiasosopo’s USC contract were not disclosed. Tuiasosopo made $210,000 at UW this year in his one season as the Huskies’ quarterbacks coach. As interim head coach in place of Sarkisian, he guided the Huskies to a 31-16 victory over BYU in the Fight Hunger Bowl on Friday.

New UW coach Chris Petersen offered Tuiasosopo the tight ends coaching position on the UW staff. Tuiasosopo coached tight ends at UCLA in 2012.
