Bellevue defensive end Shane Bowman commits to UW

Bellevue High School defensive end Shane Bowman, who had been committed to Oregon State since last summer, has announced on Twitter that he decommitted from OSU and has made a verbal commitment to Washington.

Bowman is UW’s 12th known recruit overall for the Class of 2014 — and the third in the past 24 hours.

Bowman, listed at 6-feet-3, 242 pounds, is a three-star recruit according to Scout and 247sports.
