Defensive lineman Will Dissly commits to UW

Defensive lineman Will Dissly, the top recruit from Montana, has committed to Washington, becoming the fifth recruit to switch from Boise State.

Dissly, a 6-foot-5, 250-pound native of Bozeman, Mont., is rated as a two-star recruit by Scout.com. He is the 17th known recruit for Chris Petersen‘s first class at UW.

According to the Associated Press, Dissly was the Montana¬†Class AA co-defensive MVP as a junior and a senior. He had 57 tackles, 12 tackles for a loss, 9.5 sacks, four pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and two touchdowns to lead Bozeman to a state championship last fall. Dissly also caught 55 passes for 917 yards and 11 touchdowns and was named Montana’s Gatorade football player of the year.
