Huskies get commitment from three-star defensive end

Make that six Boise State “flips” for the Huskies.

Jaylen Johnson, a three-star defensive end recruit from Corona, Calif., has committed to UW, as reported first by 247sports.com late Tuesday. Johnson is the sixth former Boise State recruit to switch his commitment to the Huskies.

UW lost its first recruit, tight end Chase Blakley, to Boise State earlier Tuesday evening.

Johnson, from Centennial High in Corona, Calif., is listed at 6-feet-3, 235 pounds. He is rated as the No. 43 defensive end by Scout. UW now has 17 known recruits committed for this class.
