Congratulations to the Seahawks and to former Husky receiver Jermaine Kearse, who spun out of a couple tackles to score a touchdown in Seattle’s rout of Denver in Super Bowl 48.

The parade is scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday downtown … and it’ll be over just in time for everyone to check out Chris Petersen‘s UW recruiting press conference, which has been set for 2 p.m. It’s also worth noting that the Northwest’s top recruit, Budda Baker, has said he will announce his decision at Bellevue High at 1 o’clock Wednesday.

UPDATE: The UW National Signing Day press conference has been pushed back to 3 p.m. because of the Seahawks’ parade. The Huskies will announce each signee throughout the day as the letters of intent come in.
