Former Washington offensive coordinator Eric Kiesau has been hired as the wide receivers coach at Kansas.
Kiesau spent the past two seasons as the UW coordinator and wide receivers coach, helping the Huskies set school records for points and yards last season. Kiesau was the offensive coordinator at Colorado in 2009-10 and the receivers coach at Cal in 2011.
“When Coach (John) Reagan came to me with Eric’s name I was intrigued,” Kansas coach Charlie Weis said in a press release. “We’re very pleased to be able to add him to our staff. It is our good fortune that Washington experienced a staff transition at the same time we were looking for a receivers coach. Eric has experienced a great deal of success in exactly the position that we were looking for.”
