Petersen: No update on indefinite suspensions of Cyler Miles, Damore’ea Stringfellow

Washington quarterback Cyler Miles and receiver Damore’ea Stringfellow, suspended indefinitely last month, will not participate in UW’s initial spring football practices, UW coach Chris Petersen said during a press conference Monday afternoon.

Petersen did not specify how long Miles and Stringfellow, both potential starters for UW in 2014, will be suspended.

Miles and Stringfellow allegedly assaulted a Seahawks fan near campus after the Super Bowl on Feb. 2. The case remains in the hands of the city prosecutor’s office, which will decide whether to file charges.

“I have nothing new to report on that,” Petersen said. “We’ll just let that play out and see how it goes.”
