Washington’s second spring practice begins at 8 a.m. today at Dempsey Indoor Center. Defensive players and defensive coaches are scheduled to be available for interviews afterward, and we’ll have the usual updates, practices notes and videos here as quickly as my fingers will type and as quickly as my iPhone will upload the videos.

I forgot to mention this on Tuesday, but outside linebacker Shaq Thompson did not take any reps as a running back, as Chris Petersen hinted Monday might happen. I’ll keep an eye out for that today, certainly.
