Morning links: The new buzzword at UW — accountability

Good morning, all.

A reminder that the Huskies will hold their sixth spring practice this morning and the final one of the first half of spring. Chris Petersen said earlier this week that he expects about 200 high school coaches on hand today for a clinic, and he said the Huskies might scrimmage. This is the one practice closed to the media for spring, so we won’t have any scheduled updates or interviews today. UW returns to practice April 1.

Said senior lineman Ben Riva: “There’s definitely a lot more accountability. If you mess up you’re going to hear about it, you’re going to know about it and you’re going to pay for it. You’re definitely held to a much higher standard.”
