Washington will play against former Husky coach Steve Sarkisian for the first time since his departure for USC on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015 in Los Angeles, the Pac-12 announced Tuesday evening as part of its 2015 football schedule release.

UW will play three weekday games next year, including the season-opener at Boise State, as previously announced. The Apple Cup will return to the day after Thanksgiving.

The Huskies will also have what figures to be a difficult stretch with USC, Oregon and Stanford in consecutive weeks in October. UW will not play UCLA or Colorado in 2015-16 as part of a rotating schedule with the Pac-12 South (UW misses USC and Utah this year).

The Huskies’ 2015 schedule:

Sept. 3 or 4 – at Boise State (Thursday or Friday)
Sept. 12 – Sacramento State
Sept. 19 – Utah State
Sept. 26 – California
Oct. 8 – at USC (Thursday)
Oct. 17 – Oregon
Oct. 24 – at Stanford
Oct. 31 – Arizona
Nov. 7 – Utah
Nov. 14 – at Arizona State
Nov. 21 – at Oregon State
Nov. 27 – Washington State (Friday)
Dec. 4 – Pac-12 Championship Game
