John Ross III, the Huskies’ explosive sophomore receiver, is out for today’s game against Georgia State with an unspecified injury, a UW spokesman has confirmed.

Ross is participating in pregame warmups with teammates, wearing a brace on his right knee.

UW radio voice Bob Rondeau was the first to report that Ross would miss today’s game.

Senior right tackle Ben Riva (knee) is not participating in warmups.

There is also no sign of defensive lineman Joe Mathis, a sophomore reserve, during warmups. Mathis did not play in UW’s victory over Illinois last week.
