Video: Top quarterback recruit Jake Browning talks about signing with the Huskies

[do action=”brightcove-video” videoid=”3834074469001″/]

Folsom (Calif.) senior quarterback Jake Browning threw his eighth touchdown pass of the game on the opening drive of the third quarter Friday night, then watched teammates finish off a 63-6 victory at Nevada Union High in Grass Valley, Calif.

Folsom, ranked No. 4 in the MaxPreps.com national rankings, is 7-0 and Browning has 43 touchdowns against two interceptions this season. He signed a financial-aid agreement with the Huskies last month and plans to enroll at UW in January.

“Being around that (UW) staff, they make you want to be the best player you can and play as hard as you can,” he said. “They just seem like the type of guys I want to play for.”

Note: I’ll have more on Browning in the next week or so.
