First glance: Arizona State

Record: The No. 14 Sun Devils are 5-1 overall and 3-1 in the Pac-12 after Saturday’s 26-10 home victory over Stanford.

Coach: Todd Graham

Coaching record: 72-39 overall, 23-10 in third season at ASU.

Star players: Senior QB Taylor Kelly (foot) is expected to return against UW this week after a monthlong absence. In his place, ASU is 2-1 with junior Mike Bercovici, who threw for 998 yards in his first two career starts. That’s the most in FBS history by a quarterback in his first two games, according to ASU. … D.J. Foster (612/372) is one of two players in the nation this season with at least 600 yards rushing and 300 yards receiving (Boise State’s Jay Ajayi is the other). … WR Jaelen Strong leads the Pac-12 in receiving yards per game (114.8), with 49 catches for 689 yards and six touchdowns in six games. … Safety Damarious Randall, named Monday the Pac-12 player of the week, leads the nation with an average of 9.0 solo tackles per game.

By the numbers:

8 — Consecutive victories for ASU over the Huskies, including a 53-24 victory over UW in Tempe last season. The Sun Devils have not lost at Husky Stadium since 1997 (they are 4-0 since).

46 — Distance, in yards, of Bercovici’s Hail Mary touchdown pass to Strong on the final play of the game to give ASU a stunning 38-34 victory at USC on Oct. 4.

17 — Years since the Sun Devils defeated both USC and Stanford in the same season, as they have done this year.
