Star players: Fourth-year junior quarterback Brett Hundley (6-3, 226 pounds) began the season as a Heisman Trophy candidate, but has faded from the race. Still, he‚s a dangerous dual-threat performer. He has 2,245 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and four interceptions while completing 71.0 percent of his throws. He also has 546 rushing yards and five TDs. Hundley averages 310.1 total yards (249.4 passing and 60.7 rushing) per game. … Third-year sophomore running back Paul Perkins (5-11, 198) ranks second in the Pac-12 with 1,074 rushing yards. He averages 19 attempts per game and 6.3 yards per carry. He has six rushing TDs. … Junior receiver Payton Jordan (6-1, 213) leads UCLA in receptions (53), receiving yards (783) and touchdown receptions (7). … Third-year sophomore Ishmael Adams (5-8, 190) is a special-teams dynamo, who is a breakaway threat on kickoff and punt returns. He averages 24.1 yards on kickoff returns, which was bolstered by a 100-yard touchdown return. Adams averages 10.5 yards on punt returns. He also blocked a field goal last week. … Sophomore linebacker Myles Jack (6-1, 225) is a touted two-way player from Bellevue High, who hasn’t seen much time on offense this season after several standout performances last year. He’s second on UCLA with 63 tackles and fifth with just 71 rushing yards and two TDs on 22 carries. … Fifth-year senior linebacker Eric Kendricks (6-0, 230) is tied for first in the Pac-12 with 97 tackles. The Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year candidate also has two sacks and two interceptions.
