Huskies morning links: Marcus Peters opens up about his dismissal from UW

Links:

  • Marcus Peters told USA Today that he blames himself for being booted from UW in November. “It was an avalanche ready to happen, man. It was going to collapse sooner or later,” he said. (Scheduling note: I have an interview Saturday with Peters, who has been training for the NFL Combine in the San Diego area with Shaq Thompson, Danny Shelton and other prospects.)
  • NFL Network’s Mike Mayock ranks the top prospects at each position, and Peters, Thompson and Shelton all show up.
  • Three of these mock drafts have Shelton going in the top 10.
  • Helmet cameras in college football? Could be.
  • Pace of play, a hot-button topic for the college rules committee last year, was not on the table this time.
