Conroy to Charlotte

In case you missed it, I’ll pass along the news our NBA reporter had in today’s Seattle Times that Will Conroy has signed with the Charlotte Bobcats.
And yes, that means he will be a teammate of Adam Morrison’s.
Conroy had been talking with the Chicago Bulls. But word is that the Bulls were a little concerned about Conroy’s surgery in July to repair a nagging stress fracture in his leg.
And as Percy Allen reports, Conory may have a real chance of making the Charlotte roster.
The Bobcats have Raymond Felton, Brevin Knight, Kevin Burleson, Morrison and Matt Carroll at guards. Only Felton, Knight and Morrison are locks and Morrison also swings to the 3-spot. Burleson, another Seattle native, and Carroll apparently don’t have guaranteed deals.
Conroy might have had a tougher time making Chicago’s roster.
The Bulls are loaded in the backcourt with Kirk Hinrich, Chris Duhon, Ben Gordon, Adrian Griffin and Thabo Sefolosha, who all have guaranteed contracts and are locks to make the team.
