Hawes doing more

Stopped by practice briefly Thursday in the midst of all the football stuff and had a quick talk with Spencer Hawes.
His knee was in ice, a precautionary measure after having the kind of surgery he had, but he said he had done more in practice each day and expects to be able to play as much as needed in the Basketball Travelers Classic.
A couple other players are more uncertain.
Harvey Perry has sat out practice the past three days with a minor injury but is expected back at practice today.
Joel Smith is working his way back but it’s unclear if he’ll be able to play in the BTC.
