Giles turning pro?

Interesting note buried at the bottom of this story on the Yakima Sun Kings of the Continental Basketball Association that they are expecting former Rainier Beach High star C.J. Giles to join their team this week.
If so, that means Giles’ college career is over.
Giles was booted off the team at Kansas earlier this month after being ticketed for a misdemeanor battery charge, just the latest in a series of problems that included reportedly being behind in child-support payments. Here’s a story that details his previous issues.
Not sure how it works that he can immediately join the CBA. Hopefully there will be more coming out of Yakima soon on all of this.
