Back on-line

Okay, so I’m still without power, but back to work after a crazy personal weekend out here in the darkness.
Today, both the Huskies and LSU are scheduled to practice at Edmundson Pavilion, so we’ll update here as events transpire.
The first part of LSU’s two-game Northwest journey was Sunday in Corvallis, a tougher-than-expected 60-53 win over Oregon State. Here’s the Oregonian’s take on the game.
You’ll note that OSU decided to go with a zone to try to neutralize Glen Davis. The Huskies rarely play zone so it’ll be interesting to see if that’s something they’ll try based on OSU’s apparent success.
I’ll also pass along Ken Goe’s Pac-10 notes column, which includes some interesting news on UCLA, Stanford and USC basketball.
Finally, I’ll also pass along that Nate Robinson has been suspended for 10 games for his role in that brawl the other night. I like the line at the bottom about former Sonic Jerome James being suspended a game for leaving the bench. That may be the first time all season James has left the bench.
