Hawes officially gone

The University of Washington finally made it official that Spencer Hawes is turning pro. You can find the complete release here at gohuskies.com
And here is our story on Hawes leaving.
UPDATE
With Hawes officially gone, UW now has 13 scholarship players for next season. Here’s how it looks:
07-08 roster
SENIORS
G – Ryan Appleby
G – Tim Morris
JUNIORS
G – Justin Dentmon
F – Jon Brockman
F – Artem Wallace
G – Joel Smith
SOPHOMORES
C – Joe Wolfinger
F – Quincy Pondexter
G – Adrian Oliver
FRESHMEN
F – Matthew Bryan-Amaning
F – Darnell Gant
G – Justin Holiday
G – Venoy Overton
TOTAL 13.
Comment: Overton, however, has yet to get academically qualified. And don’t expect anything significant to come from Wallace’s legal issues, certainly nothing that will impact his status with the team.
08-09 roster

Comment: As of today, Huskies right at the limit. But a lot can still change, which is why the Huskies continue to actively recruit for this class. Jrue Holiday is the obvious top target right now, though there are strong indications he’s favoring UCLA.
