Here are a few stories about the Pitt game:
— First, this preview from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette as well as this story on how the Panthers are hoping to begin shooting better.
— There’s also this Q-and-A on Pitt from the Post-Gazette.
— There is also this preview from the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review. Notice both stories mention that Pitt has a chance to snap UW’s 31-game home winning streak in non-conference play. The last loss game against Gonzaga in 2003.
— The Tribune-Review also has this story with some fun details on the last time the Panthers played out here in 1950 that was part of a two-week eight-game trip to the West Coast in which Pitt lost all eight — including two games on back-to-back days against the Huskies.
