Couple quick notes

A few quick things:
— First, for the guy who wondered where Senque Carey is, he’s in his third year as an assistant coach at Fresno State.Carey did have the fightening incident at New Mexico but has recovered and doing well in coaching.
C.J. Giles played his first game for Oregon State last night and it wasn’t quite what he’d hoped, fouling out in six minutes. Here’s a good overview.
— The Huskies play Portland Saturday at 3 p.m. Here’s a link to a roundup of Portland’s last game, a 58-57 win at Montana on Friday night. Some interesting names on their roster — Luke Sikma is the son of Sonic legend Jack and Nik Raivio is the brother of the former Gonzaga star.
With finals for the team and other things going on, this has been a slow week for UW hoops news. But we’ll be out there tomorrow to get a few things to pass along here.
