More on Portland

A few day-after links:
— First, here are my stories for today: The game story with more on the defensive emphasis and how that may have impacted the offense; and the notebook, with items on Jon Brockman and Justin Dentmon and the lineup.
— Here’s the game story from the Oregonian,
— Up next for UW is Portland State on Tuesday. Here’s a lot of good info on the Vikings from the Oregonian’s PSU blog.
— PSU’s athletics web site has a good preview of the game. PSU, coached by former UW assistant Ken Bone, is 7-4 and has won four of its last five games. Most relevant, it gave Washington State a pretty good run last Sunday before losing 72-60.
— Remember, Tuesday’s game won’t be a matchup with former Husky Phil Nelson, who is now on the PSU roster. Nelson is redshirting this season as a transfer and is not eligible to play.
