Checking up on the recruits

Thanks to longtime blog contributor Bryson for passing along some info on some of UW’s recruits for the Class of 2008 that I’ll now pass along to the rest of you here.
— Guard Elston Turner Jr., is playing for Elkins High in the Houston area and averaging 13.8 points a game for a team that is 16-4.
— Guard Isaiah Thomas had 38 points and eight assists for South Kent Prep School last night in a 104-85 win over Vanier. South Kent is 4-8 overall.
— Guard Scott Suggs is averaging 22.4 points and 8.8 rebounds a game for Washington High in Washington, Mo. (you can see very detailed stats for him here). Washington is 7-1 on the season.
— Forward Tyreese Breshers has led Price High to a 12-2 record but the most recent game was a loss to Bishop Montgomery in the championship game of the Sea Hawk Beach Classic in which Breshers was held to 10 points.
