A quick update

Just wanted to pass on a quick note that UW has completed its weekly media day in preparation for the trip to Los Angeles.
No real news as all players are reported to be healthy and ready to go, and UW coach Lorenzo Romar said the lineup is likely to stay the same.
The trip starts with a game at UCLA, and much of the focus of conversation today was on defending Bruin center Kevin Love.
“Kevin Love is an awfully good basketball player,” Romar said. “I think the last time we faced someone that good offensively was Ike Diogu (of Arizona State). You’ve got to guard him as a team. I don’t think any one guy can play him. You’ve got to always be aware of where he is.”
It’s likely Artem Wallace will begin the game guarding Love with Jon Brockman also getting a shot or two at him, much the way the Huskies defended Aron Baynes Saturday.
Brockman said he played against Love once on the summer circuit a few years ago and said he marvels at how tough and physical he is as well as being fundamentally sound.
