Brockman Player of the Week

Washington’s Jon Brockman has been named as the Pac-10 Player of the Week for his play in leading the Huskies to wins over Oregon and Oregon State. It’s the third time he has been named POW this year, and fourth for his career.
Brockman had 21 points and 16 rebounds against the Oregon Ducks on Thursday and then scored 26 points with 14 rebounds against Oregon State Saturday. He also was 18-29 from the field in the two games.
Brockman has a thing for Oregon schools as he was also named POW in December for his play in a pair of UW wins, one against Portland State. He was also named POW in November after leading UW to a pair of wins in the pre-season NIT.
He was also named POW last February after the Huskies swept Cal and Stanford at home.
