Can Brockman be Player of the Year?

That’s a topic I explored in this story that ran in today’s paper. He’s putting up the numbers, and he plays the type of game that the coaches — who make the vote — like and admire.
The biggest obstacle for Brockman figures to be where the Huskies finish in the standings. Players that win the award typically play for teams that finish in the top two or three of the conference, and at least for teams that make it to the NCAA Tournament.
In other news this morning, ASU is hoping that James Harden can play tonight, according to this story in the Arizona Republic, but the Sun Devils are also preparing to play without him, according to this piece in the East Valley Tribune.
