Good omen for Huskies?

This is usually one of those trips that those of us who cover the team look forward to largely to get a few days of sun as change up to the Seattle winter.
But no luck so far this year.
Landed in Phoenix and rented a car and the first thing I had to do was figure out how to use the wipers to clean away the rain that was falling. It’s an intermittent rain so no flash floods or anything like that as can happen here.
Maybe familiar weather will make the Huskies feel welcome here.
What will be a bigger factor is the health of James Harden, and while rumors ar circulating that he’s out tonight, I’m not yet at the arena to confirm that.
NO TV TONIGHT: Another reminder that there is no TV tonight, but I’ll try to blog as often as I can before, during and after to keep you up to date.
There will be no TV for next Thursday’s home game against Stanford.
However, I am told that there will apparently be some sort of TV for the USC game Feb. 7 unlike I had written earlier this week (it’s not listed on the schedule) so people with Fox packages will likely have some sort of access to that game.
