MBA gets a visitor

Matthew Bryan-Amaning was beaming as he answered the question.
Yes, the woman up there talking with UW coach Lorenzo Romar is his mother.
Brenda Bryan is in town for the next two weeks, in fact, to see her son play college basketball for the first time.
With UW having four straight home games, the family decided this was the best time for Brenda to make what is also her first trip to Seattle.
Matthew Bryan-Amaning said she saw quite a few of his games at South Kent (Ct.) School where Matthew played after coming over from England in 2004 — he was born in London.
But mom and dad have since moved to Ghana, where his father, Samuel Amaning, is originally from — his father recently retired and decided to move back home.
Brenda Bryan seemed a little in awe as she was shown around Hec Ed and the rest of the facilities by Romar.
“It’s just so massive,” she said.
