On to the stories:
— My story for the paper today included Ryan Appleby’s thoughts on what he is expected to face at Mac Court this week as well as a condensed version of the web story yesterday on the Tim Morris-Alfred Aboya deal.
— As the Huskies head to Mac Court, there is a lot of news about Oregon’s attempts to build a new arena.
— The Eugene Register-Guard examines Oregon’s NCAA hopes while also giving an injury update on the Ducks.
— The RG’s Ducks blog also has some news.
—- The Huskies will also play at Oregon State on this trip, heading to Corvallis on Saturday. They won’t see former Rainier Beach star C.J. Giles there as he was kicked off the team by interim coach Kevin Mouton following the team’s game against the Huskies last month. But the Eugene Register-Guard reports today that Giles is still in school and hoping to convince whoever becomes OSU’s new coach to let him back on the team.
Jon Wilner’s College Hotline has lots of good stuff on the Pac-10.
