At least we saw the worst team in history

After yesterday’s collapse, this is threatening to go down as a relatively UW basketball season unmemorable season.
But take heart — if you were at Hec Ed last Nov. 13 you got to see the worst team in college basketball history.
That was the night the Huskies beat the New Jersey Institute of Technology 88-47 in the opening round of the NIT Season Tipoff.
Saturday, NJIT completed its season with a 76-50 loss to Utah Valley State to finish 0-29, setting a record for most losses in a winless season.
And as might be expected, NJIT is 341 out of 341 I-A teams in the RPI something that might have been a drag on UW’s NCAA tourney hopes if they still really had any left.
