Bryan-Amaning playing for his country

Husky freshman center Matthew Bryan-Amaning has been named as one of about 20 players who will be invited to try out for a British national basketball team that will attempt to quality for the 2012 Olympics.
You can read details here.
Bryan-Amaning is a native of London.
The 2012 Olympics will be held in London so there is a particular motivation and urgency for the British team to qualify.
It’s common for college players to participate in such tryouts and on national teams, similar to Jon Brockman’s attempt to make the Pan-Am Games team last summer.
