Another player leaves women’s team

This is never going to be a blog that regularly covers the UW women’s basketball team since there’s just no way I can adequately do it. With the schedules of the two teams being essentially reversed — when one is on the road the other is at home, etc. — I never see any women’s games, so it’s not an area of expertise.
I write that as a preamble to pass along this article today by Steve Kelley on the latest player to leave the women’s team, which may be of interest to some of you and which you may want to comment on. And since we don’t have any other forums for that, I’ll post it on this blog so you can comment here, if you’d like.
Kali Bennett is the fourth player to transfer from the team since the start of the season, and unlike the other three, she says she wants to go to Washington State to play for the coach who recruited here at UW, June Daugherty.
