Draft decisions looming, more

A couple of links to throw your way today in anticipation of Monday’s deadline for underclassmen to pull themselves out of the draft.
— Arizona Daily Star columnist Greg Hansen wrote today that there’s no doubt about it nowChase Budinger will stay in the draft, a decision that he says will leave Arizona with a small forward rotation of Zane Johnson and Jamelle Horne. Budinger’s departure will likely mean this Arizona team will have its lowest expectations going into a season since maybe Lute Olson’s second year in Tucson.
— If Budinger really does leave, he’ll do so despite a hard sell from Olson to stay.
— Cal’s Ryan Anderson and UCLA’s Luc Richard Mbah a Moute are the other two Pac-10 players still undecided, though I couldn’t find anything new about either of them. Sportsline.com’s Gary Parrish says Anderson should probably stay in the draft but that Mbah a Moute should say in school.
— The Boston Globe reports that the stock of UCLA’s Russell Westbrook is rising so quickly he could go No. 4 to the team David Stern is allowing to be stolen from Seattle.
— And in non-draft news, here’s a profile from the Oregonian of 6-8 forward Mike Moser of Grant High in Portland who is quickly rising up the list of college recruiters. He reports that he just got an offer from Arizona and he already lists an offer from Washington.
All for now.
