Bradley to Texas

Guard Avery Bradley, formerly of Bellarmine Prep High, has committed to Texas, according to this story in today’s Austin American-Statesman. Bradley is now playing at Findlay Prep in Henderson, Nev., along with Clarence Trent, a forward who is considering UW and could make a public declaration of his choice in the coming days.
Today’s news means both of the famed Bellarmine Prep guards have made their decisions here in the last few days — Abdul Gaddy said earlier this week he is going to Arizona.
Gaddy and Bradley had talked of a package deal, but obviously that didn’t end up happening. Bradley’s decision means UW won’t get any of what are generally considered to be the top three in-state recruits this year — Franklin’s Peyton Siva earlier committed to Louisville.
You’re starting to see a lot of commitments right now with school back in session, official visits being made, and slots filling up in anticipation of the early signing period in November.
