A few Friday afternoon links

And even a few that don’t mention Lute Olson. ….
Russ Pennell has indeed been named as the interim head coach at Arizona. The story also includes mention of a UA recruit, Solomon Hill, who has decommitted, with his father comparing the Wildcat program to a sinking ship.
— The Oregonian has a nice recap of all the Olson stories as well as the news that C.J. Giles has been cut by the Lakers.
CollegeHoops.Net lists the top six players in the Pac-10 with a certain Husky forward checking in at No. 4.
— CollegeHoops.net also concludes that UW has been the fourth-most successful program in the Pac-10 the last five years.
— The Portland Tribune previews Portland State, a UW opponent this year featuring former Husky Phil Nelson.
— A few of you have asked what happened to another former Husky, Adrian Oliver. He’s now at San Jose State and this story, though a few weeks old, provides a good update.
All for now.
