Brockman says he’s fine

Just spoke real quickly with UW forward Jon Brockman who said his bruised back is feeling a lot better and expects to play in tomorrow night’s exhibition against Western Washington.
“Feels good,” he said of his back, which he bruised when he fell hard on it while going for a rebound on Monday. “I’m going to go today (meaning take part in practice).”
One player who won’t apparently take part in the game is Western Washington 7-foot David Vanderjagt, a transfer from Montana. The WWU sports info department reports that Vanderjagt is “day-to-day” with a sprained ankle but likely won’t play tomorrow night. He also sat out Western’s exhibition on Saturday.
