Gaddy leads Best in the West Team

Today is the beginning of the early national letter-of-intent signing day, and while the Huskies won’t officially announce any signings — preferring to wait a day or two until they are all in — one player who will be in their class is Bellarmine Prep guard Abdul Gaddy.
Gaddy was named a few days ago as the top vote-getter on the annual Long Beach Press-Telegram Best in the West team, edging out center Renardo Sidney of Los Angeles, who a year ago this time was considered by many as the top prospect in the nation.
Here’s the entire first team. The only other Husky who would be eligible to be on any of the teams is guard C.J. Wilcox, who is on the third team.
