My Top 25

Here’s my Top 25 for this week.
, North Carolina
, Connecticut
, Pitt
, Oklahoma
, Duke
, Wake Forest
, Purdue
, Gonzaga
, Minnesota
, Michigan State
, Louisville
, Villanova
, Xavier
, Syracuse
, Notre Dame
, Texas
, Ohio State
, UCLA
, Tennessee
, Georgetown
, Baylor
, Arizona State
, Clemson
, Marquette
, Missouri
I moved Gonzaga up a spot after the loss to UConn, which is among the better games played anywhere so far this season.
I also moved Minnesota way up — from out of the poll to No. 9 — after its win over Louisville. Maybe that’s too big a jump. But the Gophers are undefeated and did beat the Cardinals fairly decisively — it was never closer than four in the second half.
And still only two Pac-10 teams. I watched a lot of UCLA’s games last week and the Bruins just don’t seem all there yet. And ASU also continues to look like a team still not quite playing to its peak potential. No one else in the conference seems worthy yet — Arizona might have been a thought had it not gotten beat by UNLV.
Clemson also moved into my poll after its win at Miami.
