Brockman’s cuts run deeper

When you tune in today, you’ll notice a little wrap on the left hand of Jon Brockman.
It’s to protect one of the more interesting injuries of his career — a cut on his left thumb suffered opening a Christmas present that required three stitches.
A UW spokesman said Brockman said the cut occurred as Brockman used a hunting knife to open a particularly well-wrapped gift. Word is the gift was a hatchet.
It’s the latest in a series of ailments for Brockman, including a sprained right ankle and nine or so stitches under an eye that resulted from a head butt from Artem Wallace earlier this month.
But none of it is expected to limit Brockman today.
