A few notes

Clearing out the notebook:
— A couple readers asked what the ticket situation is for tomorrow night. As explained here, it’s a doubleheader with the women going at 5 and the men at 7:30. Tickets are good for both games. Fans with tickets for the women’s game will be able to watch the men’s game from the bleachers in sections 3, 4, 5 and 6. If you have a ticket for the men’s game, you can come early and just watch the women play.
— Here’s a good feature from a few days ago on UW signee C.J. Wilcox (though he might not want to count on too many games on ESPN given the Pac-10’s TV contract).
— The Huskies are at No. 58 in the RPI though the real story is who is No. 1 among Pac-10 teams — Stanford at No. 11. UW also has the second-highest strength of schedule rating and No. 60 overall.
— The team former Husky Tre Simmons played for in Israel last year was named as that country’s “Team of the Year” by the Jerusalum Post . Story also indicates Simmons is on the move to yet another new team in that league.
All for now.
