Pre-game in Pullman

Everyone has made it through the snow to Pullman, and as I write this an hour before tipoff, the teams are on the court going through initial warmups.
UW guard Elston Turner is in uniform but isn’t expected to play, though the fact that he is here and in uniform means that he can.
Tyreese Breshers is also in uniform but is expected to redshirt this season and is simply making a few trips to get the experience. Breshers was stopped as he headed out to the court by WSU coach Tony Bennett, who much have tried to recruit Breshers because they seemed to know each other pretty well. Breshers explained to Bennett about his shin and why he isn’t playing.
The game will be announced today by Kevin Calabro and Lenny Wilkens. The UW players filed past the two on their way to the court. Wilkens nodded to a few of them and one who stopped to greet Wilkens was Isaiah Thomas, the two having a brief conversation before Thomas made his way to the court.
The Huskies had to fly to Lewiston yesterday afternoon instead of Pullman and the 45-minute bus ride up the hill to Pullman was apparently pretty hairy, with high winds blowing snow over the road.
But everyone is here, and tipoff awaits.
