The morning after

It was a foggy one in Eugene but a happy one for UW fans. …
— Here’s my story today, focusing on the ease with which UW won and the quietness with which Jon Brockman got his rebounding record.
— The Oregonian says both tempers and fears are rising in the Ducks after they lost for the 10th time in 13 games.
— The Eugene Regsiter-Guard notes that the Ducks helped do themselves in with a flurry of turnovers.
— RG columnist George Schroeder writes that’s as subdued as Mac Court can get.
— The Oregonian’s sidebar notes that the Huskies didn’t get the kind of raucous atmosphere they were exepected.
— Tomorrow’s opponent, Oregon State, is coming off a tough overtime loss to Washington State in which it simply missed a bunch of wide-open shots that could have won the game, according to the Oregonian.
— The Corvallis Gazette-Times agrees that OSU simply couldn’t fiinish the deal against the Cougs.
